FASHION SHOW

FAAP Moda 2018

Open to all FAAP Fashion BA course students, the FAAP Fashion contest consists of two phases.
In the first, candidates send sketches of six looks, in addition to a text describing the concept of this mini collection, accompanied by images that served as inspiration and reference for the creations. They must also attach samples of fabrics, colour charts, and materials that they plan to use to make each piece. From this, six students will be selected by a panel of judges made up of names linked to the FAAP fashion course and leading professionals in the Brazilian market.
In the second phase of the contest - which is carried out with the team's support that coordinates the contest -the chosen students will produce the pieces they sketched on their sketches. They will have the institution's allowance to get this off the ground. For four months, they will work with modellers, dressmakers, stylists, makeup artists, hairdressers, and the soundtrack, casting parade directors who will guide them in this process.
The participants' collections will be presented to guests in a parade at the FAAP Theater (in São Paulo), reproducing the process of launching a professional collection. A jury formed by influential fashion professionals and personalities will choose the top three for the presentation. The general public can watch the contest's final through the FAAP Moda Contest application, broadcast live on TV FAAP, and vote for the 'Faap Moda' app, electing one of the finalists in the public vote category.
